Meet Hripsime- Market Analyst
Can you introduce yourself?
I am Hripsime and I am currently working at Sparkers as a Market Analyst since the first days of its Yerevan office. I have got my masters degree in Industrial engineering and systems management from the American University of Armenia back in 2019. Since then I worked in different companies in various fields.
Can you explain your role at ✨Sparkers ✨?
I am publishing weekly reports about games sales for GSD project. The main responsibility is to validate the numbers we get and extrapolate and get the most accurate data possible for our customers. My job also requires me to keep in touch with the clients and perform ad-hoc analysis from time to time.
What does a normal day for you look like?
My day at the office begins with a small chat with everyone asking about their weekend, wellbeing etc.
Then we all start working on our daily tasks. As a market analyst, I am responsible for video game sales reports in some territories and I start checking the data we receive from the clients. Once I see everything is complete I start working on the data. So I work on publications at first. During my day I also have to answer questions, emails we receive from the clients. It’s sometimes fun to see how the other companies operate in terms of providing or receiving some services to/from others.
Last, but not least, my daily responsibilities also include keeping in touch with my colleagues in Armenia and abroad to solve issues that arise from time to time. It’s the cooperation that wins at the end of the day. Here in the Yerevan office, we support each other as a family and it's nice to work with such people.

People are key for me here at Sparkers. Especially my team in Armenia are warm and fun to work with. Besides that, the gaming industry has a huge market all over the world and Sparkers, somehow, is in the spot light of this industry. Here we are always informed about the latest news and updates about the gaming world.

What are your favorite video games & hobbies?
I used to play video games when I was a kid and my favorite game was Crash Bandicoot. However, for now even though I work in the industry, it has been decades that I haven't played video games at all. My hobbies change from time to time. The same things continue giving me joy, but I need to switch from one thing to the other sometimes. So for now I love reading fairy tales and walking in the evenings. It gives me time to free myself from the worries that we all have here in Armenia about our present and future.
