Can you introduce yourself?

Hello, my name is Justine. I am 28 years old and I’m an HR Assistant/Recruiter at Sparkers Data Company. It is a multi-tasking position with many challenges on a daily basis. I am based at the company's head office in La Hulpe. I have a background oriented in recruitment and personnel administration. I studied at the University of Versailles-St-Quentin in the Yvelines and obtained my master’s degree with honors in 2017. I’m from France and I had the chance to study and work abroad in Canada and in Ireland. It is also in Ireland where I met my Belgian fiancé and therefore arrived in Belgium a few years ago now.

Can you explain your role at ✨Sparkers ✨?

I joined Sparkers Data Company in July 2021 as HR Assistant/Recruiter. Recently, I also have Office Manager assignments. I take care of all CDI, CDD and intern recruitment for all the company's offices.

With my colleagues Marie and Muriel, I take care of HR administrative tasks and accounting follow-up (and there is plenty to do!): preparation of contracts, amendments to contracts, onboarding from A to Z, payroll management, training follow-up, holiday follow-up, well-being at work, car and bicycle fleet management, participation with CSR, exits from the company (resignations, dismissals, etc.), current requests from employees, HR projects, invoicing, encoding of entries and exits, processing of mailboxes, etc. A major part of my work is to transcribe "the life" of the company for administrative and legal follow-up. My position is support oriented rather than operational, and it is just as important for the proper functioning of the company.

What does a normal day for you look like?

I don't have a "normal day" at Sparkers. My work is punctuated by accounting deadlines (VAT, invoicing) but also by HR (payroll, monitoring of leave, monitoring of KPIs). There are also sometimes sudden demands that can also appear in terms of recruitment. As a rule, my work is organized according to monthly recurring tasks and the follow-up of ongoing HR projects. As social law is constantly evolving, we make sure to always be up to date.

Why do you like ✨Sparkers✨?

At Sparkers, I like the multi-tasking missions of my work and the flexibility. I don't do the same job every day, and I work a lot independently. I also occupy a central position, and I have a lot of exchanges with the different teams. In the company, we have the possibility of working from home, which allows me to have a better personal work-life balance.

What are your favorite video games & hobbies?

Every week I go to my Yin class. Yin is a derivative of Yoga combined with meditation. It allows me to reconnect with the present time and feel the energies. Recently, I have been part of the “Cross Fit Nivelles” Team.

As for video games, I don't really play them anymore. As a teenager, I played a lot of the Sims (I was addicted….). Back then, I had fun creating different types of environments for hours. Today, I work for hours... but in my house. It went from virtual to real.
