Meet Trang- BI Developer

Written by Sparkers | Tuesday, 11 July 2023

Can you introduce yourself?

I am Trang, working in the Belgium office as a BI developer since 2020. I got my MBA in Business Information Management from the famous KU Leuven the same year.

Can you explain your role at ✨Sparkers ✨?

I started as a BI developer Intern at Sparkers in 2020 and have been developing my knowledge and skills in the same field as time went by. Being swamped with data, developing, maintaining and optimizing dashboards and reports are among my main responsibilities.

What does a normal day for you look like?

It depends really a lot on "the day" as there is no "normal" day at Sparkers. I can always expect new or unpredictable challenges everyday ( or every sprint, agile way of working). What is considered most normal I think is that I have a couple of meetings with my team every two weeks to decide the objectives of the sprint, update my team members on task status, tackle any issues that need to be resolved, and of course close the sprint. Besides, I often communicate with product owners to make sure their requirements are well understood and the products delivered are aligned with their requests.

Why do you like ✨Sparkers✨?

There are many things to like about Sparkers. My colleagues being #1. I love how enthusiastic they are, and there is always something new to learn from everyone; Above all, Sparkers is up to date with new technologies which keeps us informed and gives us the opportunity to work on multiple projects.

What are your favorite video games & hobbies?

"My Hotpot Story" is my favorite video game at the moment. I draw and sketch when I have time and the inspiration hits me. You can also find me playing piano or hanging in the garden with my plants and my cats when I'm not at work.
