- A steam developer suggested Valve was banning games that featured AI-generated content on their platform. Valve has claimed that they are keeping an open mind regarding the use of AI tools to generate games, however insists that any AI content use cannot infringe on the copyright of others.
- Microsoft tells court that Sony is anticipated to release a PlayStation 5 Slim and a "handheld version of the PS5" before the end of the year.
- After Epic lost its court case against Apple, it won just one of the 10 claims against Apple, that of adding links in their apps to external shop stores. Apple has refused Epic the license to bring back Fortnite to its devices and has continued to respond with the usual excuse of security and privacy as to why side-loading is not favorable.
