• • Summer Game Fest stole the show this week, highlighting the top trailers and interviews. Reactions to the show were somewhat controversial where by some criticized it for CGI trailers dominating the show, and others pointing out that the crop of games shown this year looked better than those advertised the previous year.

  •  The Xbox Games Showcase was a hour video with the first hour covering 26 games of which 9 were first-party. The second hour was dedicated to showing of the Star-field game-play.

• • A new Xbox series S SKU with a 1Tb harddrive was announced to be released on September 1st 2023 at a retail price of $349.

  • Following years of speculations, Apple has finally unveiled its long-in-the-works augmented reality headset, Vision Pro, which is said to be released early next year at a retail price of $3,499 USD. It is fully created around the concept of being present and connected to others wherever you are. With so many new features such as a front-screen that can showcase a user's eyes from a perspective-accurate perspective as someone else approaches, Apple has taken a lead in the world of augmented reality.
