In the court case between Epic and Apple, documents were made public that showed Epic paid a total of $11.7 million for 37 games given away on the Epic Games Store Free Games List . In that time, just over 100 million units were claimed of which Epic states 4.7 million new accounts were created .
In September 2019, of the 21 million newly created accounts on the Epic Games Store, 89% of these new accounts claimed the free games available on the Free Games List, while 11% included paid games. Half of those accounts with paid games had already claimed Fornite.

Stadia VP and head of product, John Justice, has left Google. In addition to John Justice, a number of Stadia’s development team have also left Google to join Jade Raymond’s new PlayStation independent studio, Haven Entertainment Studios, located in Montreal. The studio is currently known to be working on an unannounced new IP exclusive to PlayStation.
Chinese owned Tencent is under investigation by the U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment on whether the company poses a national security threat in regard to investments in Epic and Riot Games
