Rumors of the imminent announcement of the new Switch Pro have increased. The 4K console is expected to release sometime in September / October. The reason for the “early” announcement is to give third party publishers the freedom to promote their own games for the new SKU without fear of upsetting Nintendo.

Valve may be working on a Switch-like handheld for Valve games. Codenamed “SteamPal” the system is expected to be a fully integrated PC system with a screen and embedded controllers and will not be a streaming device.
