Riot Games agreed to pay $80 million in compensation for employees who alleged sexual harassment that took place at the publisher since 2014. An additional $20 million went on legal fees. Allegations of employment malpractice came to light in 2018.

Although the uptake of Digits NFT microtransactions for the game Ghost Recon Breakpoint has seen fewer than 20 sales before year end 2021, a statement from Didier Genevois, Ubisoft’s Blockchain Technical Director confirmed this has not deterred the company from pushing NFTs in its plans going forward.
