Can you introduce yourself?
Hello! My name is Anass, I'm 27 years old, I work as a Data Management Agent at the La Hulpe office. After graduating high school in Morocco, I decided to continue my studies abroad, in Belgium. I studied two years in Translation, but it just wasn't for me, which is why I decided to follow a training to become a web developer; I possess a certificate of success in web development after half a year of intense courses and training, which led me to discover the world of coding and dive deep into it!
Can you explain your role at ✨Sparkers ✨?
My job is enriching data sales, it basically means adding some little *sparks* on the data we receive, but before I started working on real data, I was trained by Remy for a couple of weeks to get a grasp on this task and to understand the rules and logic in order to excel. The first territory that I worked on was Italy, and I was pleased to work on it because of my Italian background, which means no translations and equals faster enrichment (hehe)! After I excelled on my tasks, I was assigned to more territories such as Russia, Spain and Portugal, which is also a huge opportunity for me to learn some new words and discover the different markets of the world!
What does a normal day for you look like?
It really depends on the day - it can be either a really calm or really busy day for us depending on the market sale numbers. Some of my tasks are enriching the data territory by territory, having a meeting with my team to organize our work and/or asking for an extra hand on something urgent, communicating with my fellow analysts who are responsible for the territories that I enrich the data for. Sometimes it can also be taking on requests from our clients in order to do some data quality, because our main priority when receiving the data is to send it back as accurate and well-presented as possible. ;)

Why do you like ✨Sparkers✨?
I really like the company for its diversity and transparency. I feel so welcomed among the colleagues since most of them are just video game enthusiasts like me, so I relate a lot to them, and I feel so lucky to be a part of this wonderful company!

What are your favorite video games & hobbies?
I wish I could just say that I like video games and stop there hahah. Because I don't only like one genre of games, I like many, it gives me the opportunity to interact with many players who prefer to stick to a single genre of games that I like, which is great! I used to play football a lot, but stopped caring about it in general, but I hope to get back to it someday. Lastly, I love TV shows, movies and anime which gives me the opportunity to discover more from my fellow colleagues and exchange our preferences! I find it so cool!
